Burr Insurance began operations in the Quinte area more than 80 years ago and continues to serve the greater Belleville area today offering a full range of general insurance products and services.
			1928 Clayton W. Burr establishes C.W. Burr Insurance Agency, offering home, car, farm and business insurance to the Prince Edward and Hastings County communities.
			1946 Douglas G. Burr joins the business after serving with the Royal Canadian Air Force in World War II. The new partnership is called C.W. Burr and Son Insurance Agency.
			1984 Jim Burr, son of Douglas Burr, joins the firm after a career as a community college instructor in Peterborough, Ontario. Jim Burr is a Chartered Insurance Professional (C.I.P.) designated by the Insurance Institute of Canada.
